Quality of rings, bearings and seals

I was wondering if anyone has preference of manufacturer of piston rings, rod and main bearings and seals.

Anything to really avoid like this ebay auction:

Mazda Miata Protege re-ring kit 1994-98 DOHC #EKMA13R

Or are they same stuff in different packing.
Just gasket set from Mazdacomp is close to 200 and through ebay about 60.

It is easy to say to get OEM stuff and be done with it, not worth the risk of bad material or dimensions of the bearings, or misfitting gaskets, but I would like to ask if anyone has experience with certain manufacturers which they prefer and would be willing to save others the trouble to find good products.

Thanks

I don't know specifically about rings and bearings, but there is a store (I can't remember the name) on Ebay that has good quality gasket/seal sets really cheap. Maybe someone will respond with the name.

Well i am doing a diy rebuild of a junkyard engine, here is what I used:

Bearings: clevite $50 or so for the full set
Rings: shoot i dont even remember, it was like NPT or something $45ish
Gaskets and seals (including valve seals): Felpro

That said, its my first rebuild and I havent (close but not quite) finished the buildup and it hasnt been run yet.

I always preferred stock rings, and bearings. Some content that they wear better, longer considering metallurgy of the block and the actual ring and bearings working together. That may be horse-shit though.
