Radiatorbarn prices gone up? Seeking stock replacement options
I've searched but it looks like all the prices people were quoting back in 2010 are no longer around. Radiatorbarn is charging $200 shipped for a factory replacement, and most of the other guys (Mishi, CXRacing, etc) are around the same. Ebay didn't show any full-aluminum radiators for cheap.
The PO of my car installed a DIY turbo but kept the stock radiator, which isn't problematic yet, but has 115k miles on it :eek3: I'm about to put the AC back in the car so I figured it would be a good time to replace the radiator. What's the best "bang for your buck" option in my case? I want a drop in solution I can use with my stock fans/shroud. |
How's that "hope and change" working out for you on the exchange rate?

The dollar is worth less and less. The world economy is overextended and interdependent. So watch Greece and other smaller European countries carefully. If they go, Europe goes, then us, then China, then..
Funny story for you. I read that back in the early 1960s, gas cost around 30 cents a gallon. So for a bit more than a quarter you could purchase a gallon. Today gas runs nearly 4 dollars locally. But you can still buy it using the early 60s quarters. Due to their silver content. |
silver isn't money.

YOU CAN'T EAT GOLD. Sorry, resume the radiator discussion. EDIT: What the hell? I just tried to use the IMG tags for an externally hosted pic and somehow the forum uploaded it instead as an attachment? |

A new plugin was added to the site to make all IMG pics auto attach. This was done because some of the howtos were loosing pictures from where ever they were hosted at.
