Really need help here, gauge cluster and turn signals (NO PROFANITY IN TITLES YO)
So, my tach, oil pressure, temp, and fuel gauges don't work, and neither do the turn signals. I've read about 3 other cases of this happening, none of them with useful information. The only relevent information I got was that unplugging a connector "behind under the glovebox" would cause exactly what I'm describing, but there is no such connector present.
Can someone help me out? What connector is he/she talking about? |
dude your f'ed!!! you got one of the recalled miata's back in the day......
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . haha just kiding but have you checked the fuses? what year is it? |

check it out guys, Todd had the same problem... Unfortunately brainy-ballz server is locked so I can't download the service manual he posted... And I can't get a response from todd, so I don't know how he fixed it (if he did). Anyone remember how he did it? |
same happened to mine...have you taken your gauge cluster out recently? if so you may have torn the blue plastic piece with all the leads going through it.
And since they are all on the one giant circuit, nothing will work....except the speedo, its mechanical and isn't hooked up to the cluster |
I was gonna say fuses. I had similar problems before; I think blinkers, fuel, and tach were all on the same fuse that kept randomly blowing on me.
|
My temp gauge doesn't work either. I've just ignored it. I'm ready to fix mine. In for a solution.

Hay guise, I'm a retard... I didn't have enough light when checking the fuses and it turns out that the one controlling the dash and blinkers was blown :noob:. Damn no-light conditions :fawk:
*sigh* I feel so stoopid. Thanks to anyone who offered their words of wisdom. |
