rear turn signal, mysteriously doesnt work

So yeah. after repainting the rear of the car, now the passenger turn signal wont work. The driver side does. The bulb is good as i swapped the two and it worked on the driver side. Both front turn signals are removed but the bulbs are not touching anything to short it. The backup, running, and rear lights all work on the passenger side. Is there a fuse for JUST the passenger turn signal?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

could be a ground problem. i assume your blinker blinks fast on that side? Take a multimeter and see if you have continuity between the outside of the bulb socket and the body.

Also make sure you don't have paint overspray/corrosion inside the bulb socket.

Yes clean the bulb socket and make sure you have the right bulb in there as stupid as it sounds it does happen sometime 1157 is not a 1057 trust me. ;)

yes the blinker blinks fast on the driver side. i dont have multimeter but i have vol con's. i'll check that out i should have overspray cause it was inside the trunk and i took the trunk off to paint, but i'll check.

the bulb is the right one, cause it worked before, and the driver side bulb wont work in it either.

okay no luck with vol cons, they don't read that low i guess, it's 60-600 volts for continuity. Guess i need me a multimeter

okay so im still at a loss, i grounded it and it still wont work, not the bulb i know that. Any ideas? Are they different fuses cause the driver side works.

If you have exhausted checking the bulb and the socket, work back along the harness looking for where the wires might have been crimped or broken.
