FM > building it yourself

Building yourself is cheaper, but judging you solely on this thread, you should get FM to do it. ~$3k maybe more idk.

Budget some additional money for a better radiator, coolant re-route kit, professional dyno tuning, better clutch/flywheel, six speed trans (5 speed is life limited at 350rwhp), 7" rearend with strong LSD etc. Realistically, put an MS on your existing combo, learn to tune it and then do some cost effective upgrades (exhaust, injectors, better intercooler) on your current setup and see if you can live with 220ish rwhp.

thanks for the replies I'm going to call Fm and get pricing.

yeah that lil td04 is not going to even get you close to 350 so. While you research your new turbo system and decide if you realy want to be the one who tears your motor apart and puts it back together agian then the research for that isn't a whole lot more. FM etc will probably be quicker and more effective on somethings but overall if you have to redo shit becouse of a screw up on your part thats even more time/cash wasted.

no rebuild kit will get you over 350rwhp. However, you could rebuild your motor with better parts so that it could support over 350rwhp.

Like Brain said, forged internals are needed. Oil pump gear, Rods, and Pistons.

The Greddy kit will net you a maximum of 270whp.

To get 350whp reliably will require upgrading your entire drivetrain (Based on your sig details) and a larger turbo. There are several (relatively) expensive T2 platform turbos that will get you there starting with the GT2871R. But, you can also go with a T3-based GT3271 that would cost half as much for the turbo itself. Don't forget engine management and all of the other supporting mods too.

If I were looking to go much over 300whp I'd also consider a crank wheel trigger, and if going MegaSquirt, get the MSII for sequential fuel injection.
