Removing fuel injector harness?

I'm wiring up my injectors for sequential injection on my 93 with Link. I'd prefer to be able to do the modifications to the harness on a bench inside where it is warm than bent over the car. What is involved with removing the harness? Do I have to remove the fuel rail? How many plugs and how accessible are they?

If anyone has a picture of the harness removed from the car that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Jay

When I installed my Tec3, I just cut the (5?) wires on the oem harness. Then I took the new connectors and some wire and made my own.

Not sure on the 93, but the wires on my 01 were attached to the fuel rail in a plastic snap-together cover.

FM talks about removing the harness in the link install manual. But they include it in the steps for installing the injectors, so I'm not sure what is necessary and what isn't. I'll have a look when I get home, should be pretty easy to tell, since it is still winter and my car is parked outside until spring I want to spend the least amount of time out there! :)

Pulled my turbo and manifold in about an hour last weekend, being cold is a good motivator.

there are the 4 injector plugs, a ground plug on the back of the block, and the main connector I believe. Just plug back in whatever you unplug....No bolting involved, just plugs. the ground plug on the block is the hardest to put back on, you gotta go by feel basically. You cant really see it well.
