Replacement stock O2 sensor
 

I decided to go with OG's Autotune running off the stock narrowband O2 sensor signal. The problem is, I've been running off my wideband and disabled my narrowband awhile back. I want to get a new narrowband just to be safe but they are $170.00 through the dealer.

Is there a cheaper source, or a cheaper model that you would trust to control AF for your 12 psi system?

Generic 1-Wire Bosch, $20 at a parts store. I posted the model number at some point, might be searchable. But you probably won't need it.

A 4-wire is nicer for faster warm-up Bosch 15730 works real nice and sells for $50~$60 like here:

Bruce, that 4 wire sensor fits into the stock clip or will some rewiring be necessary?

either generic sensor will require you to cut the connector and hardwire the ego signal. the 4-wire will also need to be hard wired to switched +12v, and then lines run for high power ground (block) and sensor ground (where the ecu grounds by the fuel rail).

Ah. I'm assuiming the switched +12v is for the heater? I'd have to run a wire through the firewall to the ignition 12v, or is there a switched source to tap off in the engine bay?

I spliced into the wire that feeds the blue connector just behind the drivers' side headlight assembly.

Ground the sensor ground and one side of the heater at the main ground ahead of the C.A.S.

Connect the other side of the heater to the blue plug at driver side front.

Connect sensor output where the current one-wire goes.
