Default 1994 M-Edition

hi i am about to buy a used 94 miata off of craigslist.
1994 mazda miata mx-5
i talked him down to 3k btw
this is not the m-edition but it is the fully loaded "normal" edition i guess you could say.
the interior is pretty much the same as the m-edition but it doesnt have as many accents and such.
is there anyway to basically convert the interior to a full m-edition?
i dont care about the performance parts im gonna do my own stuff with that. just wondering if its possible and where do i get the parts because i love all that wood and leather stuff lol

You joined miataturbo.net to ask about interior trim modifications?

And to be honest: thats not a good deal even for 3k.

Meh, 3k for either of those is not horrible, but I spent 5,000 cash on mine out the door from a dealership.. private you should be able to do better. Plus mine was a 97' with a hardtop and only 80k miles.

yea i was thinkin about offering the guy 2500 but cars just in general definitely go for more here in the south (texas) for some reason. idk i might still pay the 3k if he doesnt accept my 2500 or meet in the middle.
also would yall drive an hour ana half to pick up that 95 m-edition in my second post? there were only 12k made over 4 years and its in pretty good condition. might be worth more later?

For 3k I would take the 95 M-Edition over the 94.

There were only 3500 '95 M editions made, and if you're on this site you'll be ruining any collectors value the car may have. $3k is not a smokin deal, but it's fair market value for a clean car. I'd get the '95 for the seats. The '95 has seats with separated headrests that allow for easy harness routing.

You'll want more than the provided photo in the ad; taken at night from a crap angle...
Is the interior thrashed? How are the seat skins? Does the engine bay show signs of good upkeep or neglect? Is the driver-side fender actually on the car?

These are all things you should know before even starting to drive to this car. Normally the answers would be common sense, but that doesn't always fly on craigslist. Ask me how I know.
