yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. i like how you can tell how much throttle feathering is necessary by how often it gets a lil squirrely when he (she?) is on it in any sort of turn...

that Lexus V8 sounds a million times better than any ford or chevy V8 thats for sure !!! (unless Lexus uses usdm motors, do they?)

A guy locally had a Supercharged V8 (Rustang Cobra engine) with a 200 shot of NOS. That car was retarded. Torque FTMFW!

I guess you've not heard any of the newer LS-motors (or the incredible LS7, for that matter) at full wail?

Or Ford's current crop of supercharged DOHC motors?

yeah i was waiting for it to catch something. I guess it was one of those "just because" builds, a much more simply modded ls1 can be just as fast, most likely a bunch lighter and easier to drive without the turbos to worry about.

i have haerd those but i still like the sound of that lexus motor, kinda formula-ones-ish

That Lexus V8 sounds nothing like an F1 engine. Matter of fact, there is nothing I've heard that matches that sound (and yes, I've been to a couple F1 races).

I'd drive that car in a heartbeat though! Anyone have a link to pics of the build?

I think it'd be cool if someone did the LSx swap and used a remote turbo..
