Rubbing fender liner

I have noticed some pictures of peoples cars which are very low, but not heard much about rubbing.

Ever since I put my NB top mounts on my car has been sitting lower (more so in the front). On violent'ish bumps and hard corners my tire rubs on the front fender liner making rude noises. I know I could just raise my car up and be rid of this issue, but the car looks really good at this height, and I know that looks are not really as important as performance, but I don't get how so many people appear to be riding this low. Do you remove the fender liner? Are there many detrimental effects of doing so? Or do you just shut up about the noise and take it like a man?

I'm running 205/50/15 azenis at around 12" fender to hub (If I recall correctly).

11.75" in the front, 15x8 +40s w/ 225/45-15s. Inner fender liners are gone.

And... are there any negative effects?

you get more stuff in the engine bay but if you dont drive in the rain or mud etc.

You'll eventually wear through it, Mine is sitting around 11" IIRC, it was annoying for the first week or so, but it eventually just wore through the spots that it was rubbing.

Yep mine has been rubbing at stock ride hieght with my 225's in the front for a while now but only under laod or hard turning. I dont think i would want to lower it any though as it would mean buying new jackstands etc cause i can barely get under it to work on it now

I did the same as ApexOnYou, just let the tires clearance the liners themselves.
