OP, how much was the quote for the rocker repair? After multiple band-aid fixes, I'm ready to take it to the pros, if the price is right.

petrolmed, that was a great write up of your experience with the repair. I know it was your friends shop but I was wondering how much he would charge the same repair.

I frequently go to VT so I would not be opposed of dropping the car off to him.

Thanks a bunch bert. The key here is that it was done while at my parents' home (Hershey, PA) during summer break from VT, so the shop is not here in Blacksburg. The guy is in Hummesltown, PA to be precise. After paint and tax and everything it came to about $700 I believe.

2ndGear, I am confident that this repair will last quite a while. Bandaids would not give me that same fuzzy feeling! If you guys are interested, PM me and I'll send you his contact info but remember he is in PA. Again, $700 if I remember right.

Fae, I approve of your repair. The new body really follows the lines of the car well :giggle:. Spray that ish down with some rust protectant and you're gold!

BTW pic #5 is not an original uploaded pic and I cannot guarantee you will find them underneath your body panels lol. Sorry to dissapoint and thanks to the sneaky bass that put that pic up! I'll put the original in here later.
