rx-7 clutch pack in a 91
i am looking to put one of the rx-7 clutch pack lsd's into my 1991. i was wondering what all i would need. after some research it looks like ill need a 1.8 rear end housing and the rx-7 inners? does this mean i can use the 1.8 driveshaft and axles or can i stay with 1.6's or do i need somthing else. what ratio are the rx-7 clutch packs anyway?

You can use the RX-7 stub shafts, but you will need 94-95 axles. Or you could just get 96-97 one piece axles if you find those instead and use the retaining clips from an RX-7 (what I'm using).

Yes, you also need the 1.8 driveshaft. The 1.8 driveshaft is shorter than the 1.6

alright, so it sounds to me like i should just get a 96-97 open diff and put in the rx-7 inners and the axles will be usable and the driveshaft and housing?

basically yes
