Default New HID's installed

Finally converted my Moss Low-Pros to HID. Used the Xetronic kit in a 6000k bulb temp.

Pics here:

Gonna take more pics when it gets dark.

Looks good, i like the color of the light. I need to install some better bulbs, my 99 headlights suck.

Yeah, I wanted something that didn't look too ricer, and gave more light output. Looks more like OEM like an S2000 or Maxima (in person of course).

Nice job. I've always loved Moss low pros. I'm just too cheap!

god i hope Miataz gets run over my an SUV coming the other way. it's people(ricers)like him who i hate with those obnoxious headlights. Have some ******* courtesy man.

Mr_Mazda329, any issues with that HID kit at all? Like do you have any pulsing of the bulbs? or does it screw up your radio reception. I have a friend who bought one of those chinese HID kits and had those problems. The Pulsing one seems to be pretty common too. Saw a couple videos of it on youtube.

What was the price of the Xetronic kit and do the bulbs have the same base as the H9's the Moss kit uses?

Actually theres no pulsing with the bulb. I am not having any flickering issues(made my own connection just to be sure). The Xetronic kit is made in japan and has a 2 year warranty on all parts and cost $349.00 I wasn't going to cheap out on something so vital (my vision at night) and didn't want any issues with those cheaper Chinese/ on ebay kits that have no warranties and you don't really know what your getting.

The H9 HID bulb base is completely the same as the moss kit.

if you really want amazing results look into an OE retrofit. I think SK2 projecters should fit that housing. The light output on those is second to none and you will get one of the most crisp cutoffs ever.

I'm sure it would be nice, but my money is already spent and What I have is enough I guess. Might get a relay kit so I could run with Lows/Hi's on at the same time (when needed of course).

definitely do that or you will blow out the lows. they shouldn't be turned off and on quickly like they would when you flash your highbeams. relay willl cost you $10

you mean the kind of bulbs you get for free...because they were given to you right?
Is it really the trucks fault for blinding you?
You drive a low car, they drive a high car, you get blinded. Just flip your mirror setting.

Anyways, mr mazda they look very good! Where did you purchase them from? I might be interested in a set if I can find some cash.
