There are also Earl Adapters for 5/16 tune to 6AN without using 37 flare. What’s more prone to leaks flare method or compression sleeve ?

Nope dont use those. They arent rated for fuel injection pressures. Buy a -5 to -6 JIC reducer and a -5 nut and sleeve on the car side to connect to the fuel lines.

Leafy would this work

Aeroquip AN Tube Sleeves FBM3679
Aeroquip AN Tube Nuts FBM3571
Aeroquip Reducers FBM275

All of these are 5AN and reduced puts me back to 6AN which would allow aluminum female end of the hose to be attached to the hard line once it’s flared to 37 flare and using these sleeves and nut?

I have no idea on the part numbers when I did mine I couldnt find -5 stuff on summit so I bought it o mcmaster. IMO I prefer to have all my hardline flare bits as steel or stainless steel. Especially the actual flared fitting, the aluminum ones are easier to seal the first time badly made flares but only work a limited amount of time with anything but a perfect flare. The stainless ones are usually harder than the tube so they dont really get damaged by iffy flares.

Can you send me a pic of your Mcmaster assembly. I can try and search their catalog.

The Earl adapter says it's rated at 200psi. But I also did see warning about it before on MT.

250 psi maximum pressure. Aluminum tubing only.
