Sales/Deals??
 

Hi All,
Just a quick question before I dump all my savings and a new credit card on $7900+ worth of parts...
Do the vendors on here have sales often? Like random weeks, holidays, etc..
If there's not much to save then I'll pull the trigger. But if decent sales actually happen, my car can wait since winters here DO suck.

No not particularly. Small vendors already operate on a small margin.

There are small deals on Black Friday, like free shipping and some small percentages. I don't usually see other sales. Just find the most reputable vendor (best customer service, active on forum, history of delivering quality products on time, real engineering support) and support them by purchasing from them.

How about you post your shopping list, car detail, what you want out of the car. If only there was a place where you could get all the meet and greet stuff out of the way. But as far as i know such a thread section doesnt exist. Happy spending

Plus from a couple of posts I've seen before, people who ask to many questions in their meet & greet don't get them answered. I just wanted to get straight to the point. Are there sales?

Back to the OP there are rarely sales and when there are its not for very much so just order what you want when you want.

We would like you to start an introductory thread giving a brief synopsis of your plans with the car.
Along with those plans, post pictures of your car and any cats who choose to live with you.
Then post a shopping list if things you think you need and in the order you plan on installing them.
When that is accomplished, link the thread here, and we will give you a firm and possibly erotic ribbing, but it will be very helpful.
When you begin progress on the project, start a build thread.
We are generally quite accommodating in peoples' personal threads.

On the topic of sales, while I have you guys here..
I seem to be bad at finding things and selling things. Any tips? Like do i just be relentless and repost stuff everywhere? So far I've tried selling on miata.net, and like 4 different facebook groups.. don't even get a comment.

I'm going to have to find a squaretop or '99-00 IM, do I just look classifieds here? ebay??

As far as my stuff, they'll be useless after build. Going to have this mp62+pulleys, deatschwerks 350cc, TDR fuel+timing cards, and a MAF.
The injectors, power cards, and MAF were only in for less than 4 months. Do I even bother selling these? (do you see any value?? that's $1200+ I paid, wish I could get like 500 back..)
