Sandwich plate and oversized filter

Hey guys,

I've been using the Millenia filter on my 01 since owning it. I bought a sandwich plate to use for oil feed. Is anyone using a sandwich plate and able to use the Millenia oil filter, or will it hit the intake manifold brace? thanks.

Got'r done. I'm a bit disappointed with the sandwich plate. I thought the included spigot would be able to hold it on. But now every time I go to change the oil filter, the whole assembly will come loose because the included spigot adapter is a bit long. Looks like a thin washer might work, but it would slightly block the holes on the oil filter. Just a heads up to anyone on the fence over which oil feed method to use.

Thats why a full re-locate kit is preferred. Not only that but you can then run a filter that holds nearly a full quart of oil by itself :bigtu: More advantage; easy as hell to add sensors AND an oil cooler. Buy, install, call it done.

I'll probably move to this eventually. I got this sandwich plate as part of another deal, so it was somewhat free.
