I bought a '94 Miata but now I got a lil' problem. The black cloth seats I have are kinda worn and my dog doesn't like them.

Does anyone have any experience with these leather seat covers? eBay cloth seat covers?

I've searched and searched. I'd like OEM style new seats, but all I've found are the leather ones (big bucks), or slip-on covers. If I go to the effort of recovering, I'd like new, and not vinyl/pleather/neoprene.

If you find something in cloth, let me know, I'll be all over it.

If they are the "like OEM" seat covers that replace you factory seat covers they work great. They are a total pain in the ass to put on but work. If you have never put one on I suggest trying to get a shop to install them for you but it can be hard to find someone to do it for a fair price. I have put a couple on now and you will need a set of hog ring pliers and a box of hog rings. It should take about 4 or 5 hours total if all goes well.

When I bought mine the PO had these black and blue seat covers that I took off. If you want a pair of black and blue ones and pay the shipping you can have em you big fat ******.

I have been using these covers for... 7 years now. They are still in great shape and work well.

You just solved my problem with my torn seats in the miata, and the shitty seats in my bronco. :makeout:

Install was super easy. They are soft and very strong too.

Cut the old hog rings off with dikes, and use tie-wraps instead of hog rings when reassembling.

I haven't washed them in quite some time. The second picture you can see some indents on them, that is just because I have my daughters car seat in the car all the time. They rebound after a short time.

I looked up my documentation and these seats have been in the car for 6 years. Zero fading, very comfy, and I will definitely be buying another set. The stitching on the driver seat is coming undone on the first horizontal seam on the cushion, but I think that's mostly my fault as I've pulled on it really hard when working on the car, etc.
