Default new to miata

Looking to get a miata but not sure what year to get. Some people tell me to get 99-00 miata due to no vvt.

This is going to be a my last project car. Coming from a 400whp civic si and bmw e30 owner.

What miata to get depends on your budget and power goals. We need more details. Whats your reason for avoiding VVT?

Not to be rude, but your question just isn't something most people on this forum are going to answer because it is just to vague and up to interpretation of what your final goals are. The search function here will save a lot of butt hurt.

Agreed. Don't just do what a couple tell you, research your options and look at pros and cons.

But yeah. Starting of with what you want exactly is key.
