discuss. The rear vents are obviously bullshit, but I'd just cap them off from under the hood. Any thoughts on the pair of 3 vents? He wants $200 for FP, $300 for CF.

That style looks great on an FD, but I think it would be ugly on a Miata. But I guess for function sake, it might be fine.

It is definitely not a miata hood... the headlights are too rounded and narrow.

Different hood. They're doing that hood above to fit a Miata. I'd say for Sav's purpose it's perfect. At that price it's more than perfect - no fruxing around with cutting holes and plastic parts to get hot air out.

One thing that I was questionable about was where the vents will actually end up being. If he puts them too far inwards, your getting water into your spark plug valley. Either way, the other ones looks to drain in right above the turbo, which I'm not a huge fan of having water pouring on my hot turbo (if you drive in the rain). His answer to that was to block off the vents before it rains, which I'm currently doing and it sucks.

No they get wet. BIg effin deal. Ive had 3 vented hoods, live in florida where theres torrential downpours, and i have NEVER had any issues with my car

I'd like to see a simple clean vented hood using louvers like the Jag XKR or Aston. Hate that godawful huge vent and lips look of that hood. OK for track only cars but for the street or dual purpose I prefer more subtle and clean. Besides, both of those cars are just big updated expensive versions of ours!

i likey! the price is right. not sure if i would do carbon or frp. tired of being asked, ''is your hood latched?'' i have the drifter style hood spacers that raise the back part of my hood. they def. work at lower speeds.

I am thinking about getting one of these and comparing it to my FM extractor hood for coolant temps at the track. Cheap enough to where if i don't get anything good i can turn around and not sell it for much of a loss. If it turns out it works better, then it was a semi-cheap investment. On top of that i could sell the extractor hood and recoup most if not all of the new hood cost.
