Buy the turbo one because it's got a 1.8 and those are rare in Denmark. Buy it because rust free cars are hard to find in Denmark. Enjoy the car and learn to upgrade it as time goes on and as finances permit

Im not gonna find any car that is as well taken car of as this in Denmark, they almost ALWAYS have a little rust somewhere, or something underneath the paint, that isn't showing yet. And i dont think there are many 1990's with the "good" dash - which have been engine swapped for the 1,8.. And i thinking, if anything i would have to change everything aftermarked on the car to make it reliable - but i would have to do that on a turbo build from stock anyways? |

Hey Guys.
Thanks to whoever changed the topic name back from that condescending name to something more decent. Other than that i have an update. First om all. The car has a piggyback on the ECU which is why it can run the turbo setup. Second, i doesn't seem like its possible to buy a stock car and turbo it, in Denmark anymore. The law has to many demands so its impossible to get it road legal with these kinds of setups anymore. So its either this or none. You can fix it up, but you can't change to much shit, and improve HP or anything like that. So its sort of simple :) The only thing you can is buy a stock and put a rotrex compressor kit in it, which should be rather shit.. The car is build like this because back in the days (around mid 90's) a standalone ECU was super expensive, and it was way to demanding to map it correctly to run in all kinds of conditions. |

Buy the car.
1. Swap radiator with something decent 2. Buy MS3x and install, 2b. Get a boost compatible PCV setup (look into the deezums catch can) 3. Wire wastegate open, learn to tune. 4. Re-enable the boootssststss with EBC (mac valve), and tune again, or take it to a professional. 5. Enjoy modernized turbo miata. That should all run you a little over $1k USD, minus tuning what did I miss? |
