Don't know what got into the sidewall, but it had cut all the way around within a mile from the gas station I had just stopped at to fill with gas, add oil (burning), add super blue to the WI tank, and check tire pressures. Pissed me off. |
that is the funiest shit ever! you guy r great..that made my day...i am enjoyinthe shit out of my new turbo...a few beers tnite..took the car home got the truck..go figure..

For the first couple of years, I experimented with various ratios of water and methanol, mixing VP brand M1 into dilution in an external container to concentrations as great as 50% by volume. On the upside, it was interesting to see people's reactions when they asked "what's in the tank" and were told "methanol." On the downside, it was inconvenient to mix and caused corrosion even of parts that weren't supposed to corrode. Of late, I've done a fair amount of research on the subject and concluded that plain ole' distilled water is a perfectly effective anti-detonant (and one which doesn't affect your AFRs) so I've been running that instead. |
Ok fine. The truth is I don't even plan to make near enough power to need meth/water, so I have not read any threads related to the matter.
