Skunk2 manifold causing short?
Did any of you with Skunk2 intake manifold run into issues with the Positive terminal shorting? I don't know if this definitely the problem but my car has a short and I know the manifold was really really close to the starter location. Just want to see if anyone else had this problem before I rip this thing off because it was a royal pain in the ass to get on. Thanks

Someone else did have an issue where the skunk2 was shorting on the starter aswell. Dont think he is a user of the forum but I saw it on facebook. If I remember correct it had to do with it being an na starter and using an nb starter fixed it. |
Excellent I really appreciate that bit of knowledge. Do you know if an NB starter just bolts right up? If that's all it takes I'm glad to get one.

Bolts in but only uses 2/3 bolt holes. https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=626004 |
Excellent. I ordered one let's hope that's the problem because I'm not looking forward to taking this god-forsaken manifold off of the car again . It is a royal whore.

Huge difference in starter diameter. Between na and nb.

seems they fit just cant use all the bolts. Dont really care jt a track car. If it wont start ill jump it off a tow.

Nb starter uses two bolts when mounted on na instead of three
