Default Wheres the cabin air intake?

Looking for the cabin air intake. Ya know the one where you turn on to get air into the cabin from outside? Where is that at? I'm smelling smoke only coming from the vents when the setting is set to outside air (when stopped or driving slow) and i'm looking to see what i can do about it since the recirculate setting causes the windows to get foggy.

It is on my '99. Take of the full width cover, and then there is another, black plastic sub-cover over the intake. Far right side of the car.

I just cleared mine of 25 years worth of pine needles, oak leaves and other debris. Under the black cover.

Um, if you have a functional A/C system, push the A/C button in.

Heater core could have a tiny leak that fogs up your WS with the heat on. Maybe you're like me: my nose is completely de-sensitized to coolant smell after owning an old, leaky Corvette, so I know my heater core is dead when it pees on my feet in summer or fogs up my WS in winter.

You have A/C? Drain can plug, and it backs up, leaking onto the carpet. Wet carpet will fog your windows in a big hurry.

Also, back window drains (behind the seatbelt pillars) can plug as well. Same thing, water in the car causing fogged windows.

That'll help too, but even without it, the A/C dryer alone will majorly clear up fogging.
