Something New...

Just because I don't have a/c, I decided to try these out until I actually get around to installing my a/c system. Got them from OKMiata, which is a great company to deal with.
They work really well, lots of fresh, cool air enters, then, if the top is up or hard top is on, and you crack the window, even more air rushes at you, but nothing rough. Best of all, even when washing the car, they didn't leak. :) Attachment 215997 Attachment 215998 Attachment 215999 |
did you had to cut a hole in the trianglar window? or was it a whole lexan place you replace?

What the next time your going to be on North Atl side. I would like to see them in action. |
No cutting required. The hardest part was taking the door apart to get it in there, and that's not really hard, just time consuming.
It comes as a lexan piece, precut, and includes the circular vent. Costs $40 per side plus shipping, my total was just under $90. I may be up in Roswell at Andretti SpeedLab on Saturday, but if it's raining like they say it's going to, the only testing we'd get to do is to see how watertight they are. :) |
