Something shorter than a 1157 bulb?
I made a lame Turn signal intake, and i decided just to transfer the main big ass plug over to the small area. The problem is the 1157 is too big. I found a 1004 and it has 2 contacts on the bottom, but only 1 filament. I had to hack a post off the side to get it to fit too. The only problem is, when the park lights are on, it flashes like it is broken. Ghey. So a shorter 1157? Yes?

you can buy shorty 1157 globe bulbs or those multi LED 1157 bulbs.

I didn't think of the LED's and i guess they didn't have the shorties. Thanks.

Did you have any issue with those LEDs in the turn signals? Like too fast or no blinking?
Source? I have the same carpet in the second picture, only in dark grey. |
I have LED's in my turn TSI's and yes they flash fast like a bulbs out...i dont mind it, make the car go faster :jerkit: But they are well worth it can see them dam LED's from a mile away!

there's a simple fix to the flash fast....see m.net for the writeup.

I ordered amber ones off ebay, after all the parts stores had red ones.
