Spongey (sp?) Clutch pedal.

So for the past couple weeks or so my clutch pedal has periodically had little to no resistance for the first inch of travel or so. I decided that my black "clutch fluid" was a possible culprit and if not it could use a flushing anyway, so I flushed out the clutch hydraulics with ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Now it's sloppy all the time. The first inch or two of travel in the clutch pedal has no resistance you could blow on the damn pedal and it would probably fall. Is there some kind of linkage on the pedal that can be adjusted or is this a sign that my clutch slave cylinder is going bad or something else?

Thanks

Is this m.net? Ok, slave or master is bad. Are you loosing fluid? Is the slave covered in oil?

Universal Solution Guaranteed To Work: Replace Slave and Master cylinders, flush line, and bleed properly.

Damn I was hoping I wasn't going to have to replace the slave...sorry for the m.net question

If the slave is bad, it's probably leaking a little.
I bought the Tokico slave and upgraded to the clutch line to the AdvancedAutosport uber-line.

This should clear things up.

So any ideas or suggestions if nothing's leaking? I checked out the slave master and ll the other points that lines meet that i could find and don't see anywhere it's leaking, also not losing any fluid... not worried about changing the slave physically I've just always heard they're a weak point and never had one go on any of the three miatas I've had. Also didn't realize they were only $30 bucks so I guess it's not so bad if I do have to replace it.

The little rubber seal on the inside of the cap on the fluid resevoir is torn thus not sealing 100% could this be a likely culprit? If so where the hell am I going to get a replacement for that?
