I didn't notice a difference in feel after I got the SS line. However, the reason I got the SS line is because after I drove from here to Biloxi, Miss. to get my hard top, the rubber line split right under the crimp and left me stranded there. Fortunately, a free tow to an Advance Auto Parts and some hard line fabbing later, I got home.
Moral of the story: The rubber line will probably fail. Just pray you're not 5 1/2 hours away from home when it does.

I just removed the alternator and starter because I am redoing some oil cooler lines and moving my coolant reroute from the exhaust to the intake side and I was so swearing when trying to reach the starter bolts and that curly line and sharp mounting bracket getting in the way ...

Btw, did you attach the line to the tranny/chassis with some clamps? Otherwise if it is moving around wouldn't the braided stainless just eat through things it is rubing against?

I don't honestly remember the name of the guy I bought it from. But it has a few scratches and such that needs repairing, so he sold it to me for $450. Can't beat the price, but could have done without the adventure that went with it. lol

Well I talked Don down to 900, so I'm sure it wasn't him. Damn now why couldn't I have gotten one in Biloxi for 450, that's a 30 minute drive for me.

On topic I don't think your gonna break a hard line from vibration, especially if you throw a couple coils in it. Seems like a few coils going horizontally would also hold water from condensation, and keep it there instead of reaching the Slave.

I just recieved it like a week ago and I have not installed it yet.
I plan to put heat shrink over the braided line so it will not eat through whatever it rubs against.

I think I will see if my local hydraulic shop can make me a few of these ss braided clutch lines for cheap and the way I want it.

Btw, that web site mentions plastic tubing over their SS brake lines. I wonder can they do the same for the clutch line ...

I guess you can try and see if they will do it for you.
