Stock STi boost gauge on steering column?
So I want to relocate my boost gauge from the a-pillar to the steering column, similar to how it is mounted on STi's. Actually, I would like to install an STi gauge and pod because of its size and great visibility.

I've installed quite a few on different subaru's, but not in a miata. Its very doable and easy. 2 wires for the lighting, and the vacuum line, but make sure you have the restrictor pill in there or it will not read correctly. The gauge reads in mPA btw, so that kinda sucks.

thanks for the heads up, is the pill inside the vacumn line or is it in the gauge itself or is it elsewhere altogether? Do most people know it has a pill?

Why would you want to use Subaru gauge? You can just get a nice gauge that will match your dash lighting and install it in a stearing column mount.

The line is in 2 parts: the short part that comes from the gauge and under the dash, and the long part that goes to the bov. The pill should be at or near the part where they join. Without it the gauge will read stupid high. |

Your miata interior looks kinda weird.

As for the gauge I have an HKS boost gauge mounted over the dash and like it there other than the fact it blocks my view of the tachometer past 6k.
