I have a 3" Enthuza, removed the cat, and it went about .3 leaner across the board...so it's moving more air now. I'm not sure if it was worth it or not.

I have an artech 3 inch, just 3 inches all the way to the muffler, (Magnaflow) and it is a little louder than my obx dual exit with resonated test pipe. You don't really notice til the wastegate opens up. I never have ran a cat in my car, but... if it is like the difference from going to 2.5 inches to 3 inches then yes, it matters alot.

its worth it to go catless. less restriction is better. you can always swap it out if you need to.

I'm running a test pipe with my FM 2.5" non-resonated system, so the only restriction between the turbo and the bumper is a single muffler, and it is not loud AT ALL. Top down while driving, the intake noise is louder than the exhaust, and I only really hear it when going through underpasses. It would be a different story if it were NA, since the turbo quiets things way down.

I've been thinking about running a test pipe too. Is there a specific brand that is better than others? Or is it just pick any one of them up depending on how much you want to spend?

It's a fucking tube with a 2 flanges on it.
There's not really anything on it that would make any brand "better"

Go to the exhaust shop and give them $20 to grab a piece of pipe from the bin and weld a flange on it for you.

They might do it. A reputable shop will absolutely not put it on for you though.

Strong necropost. Anyone want to bet whether we’re about to see some shitty 20” wheels in the classifieds?
