is there anyone in socal that can help

Hey so I have a 1997 miata sitting at home as well as a 13b t2 motor at home and I can't seem to find anyone who has a shop that can help me do the swap. My old motor is having a ticking noise and I think its time for me to swap this baby in. At the moment I just don't have all the tools that I need or even know how to custom fabricate and or know how to weld. Pretty much I racked up all the items I THINK I need.
I'll pay anyone! as well as complimentary food <3 everyone loves food lol

but yeah seeing how it is I just wanted to know if anyone in socal can give me a hand or two or let me know what shop there is in socal I can go to.

ticking? like from the head or the bottom? ever change the oil?

eliminate the cheaper possibility first

What's your budget for labor and additional parts?

Buy a v8 roadsters bare front sub frame. Mock up the trans position using the ppf (rx7 and miata have the same mounting points for the ppf), bolt in engine and then fab up some mounts. Wire it up... Done! easy peasy.

Lol @ easy peasy. Supposedly doing a 13b in a miata requires moving the steering rack or the firewall. If it were easy, someone would have a bolt in kit ala the v8r ls kit.

Yeaaaaaa OP I think you may be underestimating the difficulty of a rotary Miata swap.

*psst* I was being sarcastic. About the easy peasy part.

There is a 13b NA here in Vancouver I've seen it a few times but never looked in detail at the steering rack. I know the firewall is not cut. Next time I see it I'll take some pics.

PS. Rotaries suck, ask me how I know. Don't do it.

Yeah I've changed the oil i change my oil regularly every 3k miles I took it to a shop and they said the same thing but its not that I have no idea what it is it comes and go. Anyways I'm willing to pay whatever the parts and labor prices as long as the prices arent to high because i have the motor and everything. I might as well go down the list of the parts i have right now. I pretty much have
Manual Transmission
ECU
harness wiring
and the complete motor the entire motor with nothing missing. I'm just having trouble finding a kit for this swap ive seen a lot of people custom fabricate their own mounts and what so ever but i cant seem to find a shop

I think that swap would take around 150 hours (not as PnP as an LS, which takes us 80-90hrs), so $15k for labor.
