Are there turbo kits for other DI motors? For Skyactiv?
.. other than the Toyobaru, which also has port injectors?

As in factory NA or factor turbo? The mazdaspeed3s have enough headroom to swap turbos. They don't have any higher flow injectors so the really high HP guys use port injection as well as DI.

I've seen some 700+hp bmw 335s. They must have figured something out, but I know injectors are the limiting factor in most bolton cars so it must be expensive to upgrade the fuel system.

I love vague/lazy threads that provide no info or background whatsoever.

E-Cool is the answer. |
I was wondering how hard it will be for the aftermarket to develop F/I for the ND. So:
1) What NA DI motors have F/I kits, which don't have port injectors from the factory? 2) Any SkyActiv motors with F/I or turbo kits? 3) Seems to me because SkyActiv relies on the "bag of snakes" header for proper scavenging to achieve the high compression ratio, a trubo would be trouble. Thoughts? |
Much better questions, thank you. Can't think of anything that does what you're asking, you might be onto something new here (or just too new)

I wrote the orig post from my phone.
