Is this a terrible idea? Or will it work magically? I'm gonna try cause i have an extra one.

Whats wrong with a hose and the KandN oil/cleaner kit ??

I cleaned a cylinderhead in the dishwasher not too long ago, high temp/steam program. You should be fine.

Must have done it while mom was out of the house. Did you install a modified head or did you have a mechanical failure I wasn't aware of.

Lol, it took to long, I just wondered if it would work, and it did, I wont be doing it again. We can get old dishwashers and sell them to honduh ownerzzzz as automatic air filter cleaners.

Yeah I made sure she wasn't around
It was that 1.6 head I was trying to port/polish/clean up. It's still half-finished tucked away in the shed, waiting for better weather and a test-mule car.

These work great for cleaning parts,just run it one time afterwords with soap and nothing in it.IMO.

I put my turbo compressor in there,and etched the aluminum well enough to take powder coating.
