throttle cable adjustement
Is there an adjustment procedure, or a slack spec, for the throttle?
Just put on a new TB with vari TPS, and the throttle cable was slack, so I tightened it up some. It seems to work fine, but I'm curious to know if there is a factory procedure or technical spec I should know about. |
You just want to tighten it so that it has a little up and down movement. More importantly, you want it to not stop before the throttle pedal is bottomed out, so you dont risk it sticking open or breaking.

1-3mm of deflection, that's all the service manual says.
it should be just tight enough that there is no slack, but no prevent the valve from fully closing. |
Cool, thanks. It should be fine then.
