Timing advance question

I am currently running a mspnp9495 on my 95 miata and the timing is set at 18° BTDC. I was wondering if i would see any gain by bumping it more to like 20°/21° BTDC. I have been running 93 octane fuel since i put in the MS.

Thanks in advance (no pun intended) lol

Umm what? Are you saying you adjusted the ignition table that DIYautotune created? Or are you saying you never set the correct trigger angle so that MS is reading the same as your CAS?

I did adjust the trigger angle so that it matched up. What im asking is if i would see any benefit by bumping the timing curve a degree or two?

You might but DIYautotune produced that timing map on a load bearing dyno for optimum power then retarded it a couple points in some areas. I personally wouldn't mess with it unless I was on a dyno and could pay attention to detonation easily. I consider it a risk you don't need to take. If you do proceed then make sure you're running good 93 octane.
