Timing belt cover hole
I'm doing the reroute on the temp engine, and I'm curious.
Are there any better ways to cover up the hole in the front timing belt cover (my reroute deletes the water neck completely, plugged by the freeze plug) besides, say, duct tape? It would be rather uncool to have something detach itself while the engine is running, on the either side of the belt cover. Thanks! |
Just a thought, but perhaps a FWD BP cover would work

What car is that off of, please?

To answer my own question,
1994-1997 Ford Aspire, 1986-1989 Mazda 323, 2000-2005 Kia Rio Ugh! Easier to find a really sticky tape that to source those junkers... Anyone from Arizona? Rust-free belt? |
protege too I think
