I have had the pleasure of driving and ISF, 05 cobra Mustang Supercharged, built EVO, and a por hilclimb subaru 2.5rs turbo. When I got back into my car after driving thos cars I still prefered mine which is a Spec Miata.

The only car that I had driven that I thought twice about was a Daily driven miata with 230hp to the wheels. Even after driving that I still prefered mine. The other miata was not setup properly to my liking. Hence one of the reasons I am selling my SM and going to build a DD/TT car.The other reason is I can't afford the car truck and trailer rental. Every time I get to instruct.

Thease cars will last. Hell the 1.6 is a turbo motor. As a mater a fact they all have turbo compressions. Hence the reason they respond so well to boost.

Have a great day,
Jared

Here go a trailer.

That trailer weighs 835 lbs. A typical FI Miata weighs around 2350 lbs. Find a vehicle that has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs., and you're good to go! (por ejemplo: Toyota Highlander, BMW X5, Dodge Magnum)

I think a contest on who has the shittest/ugly tow rig would be comical!

Cheap trailers FTW. My $200 4'x8' Harbor Freight trailer has logged thousands of miles towing race bikes to the track. Hustler has seen it (at MSR). Too bad I cannot haul a Miata with it.

Use the LS Miata to tow the Turbo one. :giggle:

Well, the LS1 is going to be the 'track car', so it would have to be the other way around. The LS1 car could tow the shit out of the turbo though :)

I have a paid-for V8 Tundra that serves as my tow vehicle. Right now it serves as my DD. It has a bed cover so I can throw all the tools, tires, and what-nots in there and lock it up. I would love to have an enclosed car hauler but they are not cheap.

Now get over to my house so I can get my car running and get MY ass on the track! :giggle:

lololol. The alfa has enough brakes to stop that thing?

Although the trailer is self braking - compulsory by law and A Good Thing(tm) - the Alfa has 6-pot 13" Brembo's on the front and has 11.5" ventilated discs in the rear as well. Don't you disrespect the stopping power of a brother's Alfa no more. :winner:
