Transmission Information

Hi, I just bought a 1997 miata and had a few questions about there stock transmissions. Does anyone know about how much whp they can handle? Also, is there a "known" problem that a lot of these transmission have?

A known problem is noobs that don't search.

The 5 speeds are known to handle up to 250wtq

I don't even think it's a matter of searching, it's a matter of reading the "everything you need to know" sticky in the intro section.
