flyingeunos 08-25-2008 01:33 AM

is that thing stock height?....it looks like shit. To run those flares and wheels, you need to be slammed, especially if your at a car show.

flyingeunos 08-25-2008 01:34 AM

Looking at the pics again, they are all stock height. FTL

18psi 08-25-2008 02:14 AM

ugly as hell

coastertrav 08-25-2008 03:06 AM

GAYYYY

Needs to be lower.

airbrush1 08-25-2008 03:34 AM

love the wheels and the flares.... but not the ride height!

Marc D 08-25-2008 04:30 AM

lower the damn thing.

UrbanSoot 08-25-2008 04:31 AM

i always wanted to slam the car down but it's hell here in the philippines with all the humps and the potholes in the streets.i'm already having problems as it is

arkr9909 08-25-2008 07:43 AM

I have same problem.. i have a long un made driveway to even get my car out the garage. frame rails take a beating every time..

And my tein flexs are on max low setting on front...

P>S what size wheels and offsets you running roadster363???

Cheers mark..

roadster363 08-25-2008 07:58 AM

those are rota rb15s 15x7 up front and 15x8 at the rear... i slammed them with 2"adaptors to make up for the gap in putting in the flares...

i'm also running with bilstein shocks and rs*r springs. coilovers are too much for me...i tried flexs before but i gave them up coz i use this car everyday. it's a pain on philippine streets but was great on the track

Faeflora 08-25-2008 09:46 AM

to the first pics--- Such big fenders! such small tires :(

climb_on 08-25-2008 10:22 AM

place to buy these fenders ???

KPLAFIN 08-25-2008 10:29 AM

Is it just me or do flares on an NA without a hardtop just look weird? Seems like flares are just meant to be on cars with HT's.

with the top down it's even more weird

miataspeed1point6 08-25-2008 12:20 PM

I wish my car was orange and flared.

Fergus 08-25-2008 12:49 PM

I was gonna flare my car ....Now I have to wait on the credit card company to hang the thief from CR.net that stole my money.

patsmx5 08-25-2008 12:57 PM

Think that exhaust tip is big enough? Turbo diesel?

bryantaylor 08-25-2008 06:09 PM

flares make the car look like a roller skate

i'll take that as a complement...hehe

Doppelgänger 08-25-2008 06:31 PM

Yeah.... get some WIDER wheels to go with the flares... those narrow little things make it look like a mexi-ride-lowrider. And ditch the grapefruit shooter. The black and flared parts look good..... but its leaving much to be desired.

roadster363- beautiful car man. What wing is that? I like it!

its actually the original tip of the HKS Super Dragger, just cut and extended the same to stick out of the bumper

Think you could have posted a bigger pic of your ugly-ass exhaust bolted to your ugly-ass stock-height car with ugly-ass wheels?

clubroadster is thataway

thanks sir. it's a bomex type II wing...looked weird when i didn't have the flares on...but blends well with the wide stance of the car now...some sense of balance i suppose

however, i'm sad to say i'm going to have to give them up soon on account of them being real heavy. it's a real shit to have on especially on the autocross circuits...

i'll probably hunt for something else...any suggestions?

s2klove04 02-26-2009 12:34 AM

does anybody know where i could order these fenders ?

albumleaf 02-26-2009 12:38 AM

Im really looking to get this type of Flares, where can i get them?

Vashthestampede 05-09-2009 07:49 PM

I was VERY close to getting a set for mine, but after much debate I changed my mind. I had the racing lifestyle flares but never put them on and ended up selling them. You have to make some sacrifices for flares.....

Rev9autosport sells them.

Why you change your mind? Ever since I saw Chris Lees miata with them, I've loved em. After I get my rollbar and 6 UL's I may look at buyin some of these so I can run some obnoxious rubber...

Same car that got me on the flare kick.

I ordered a set of the racing lifestyle ones first and was gonna have them put on, but once the flares where mocked up on the car I didn't like it. Makes too big of a gap that you can now only fill with deepdish low offset wheels. Plus there was some cutting of the fenders that was going to be involved IIRC. I knew the tuckin99 ones where more expensive and larger, so I choose to go flareless.

Tony~ 05-09-2009 09:16 PM

Its Really expensive... at that price i can have a full body kit :S Are there other, Alternatives for Wide OMG wheels?

9671111 05-09-2009 09:23 PM

Looks kind of odd with those skinny little tires.
