Turbo nb2 overheating during pulls

Do I need IC to rad ducting?

It'll only overheat under load and by that, I mean the temp gauge will peg itself on "H" any time I do more then one good pull. I also noticed that while cruising on the highway, the temp gauge will slowly "dance" around the 50% mark. But Im not sure if Im just seeing things or its just slightly overheating.

I feel that some ducting would be the solution here because there are massive tunnels to either side of the IC leading to the wheel wells (in front of the ac condenser and rad). Also, the previous owner deleted the fog light assemblies and didnt bother to install any block offs. I know putting two baseball sized holes into the bumper will effect engine bay air flow, but Im not sure if this is the cause of the issue or if its exacerbating it.

I should also point out that I have Supermiata's CSF 41mm rad and I feel that going to a crossflow will make much of a difference. Maybe for when budget allows.
