Use gaskets or not?
My 3" enthuza exhaust came with no gaskets. Does that mean I don't need them? Otherwise, where would you source a 3" gasket?

if the flanges are in good shape, no gasket needed. i have only my exh manifold gasket and nothing after it at any joint. no leaks.

I always have had trouble keep them exhaust leak free without gaskets.... I use Copper RTV, Jason actually suggests using this as well.

well... the v-bands help. but barring that, if you can get ahold of a good belt sander and your flanges are mating at the right angle...
|
I always use the Red RTV sealant. It makes a nice flexible seal and can fill minor gaps and pinholes. Any autoparts store will stock it in tubes that will last you for years. Jason
