VTCS connection help
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys, I’m up for my emissions check and I had to put the stock ECU back in the car for the first time since installing my turbo. I’m throwing CEL P2004 Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open Bank 1. I’m suspecting that I have the vacuum lines run incorrectly to the VTCS. The car runs like crap until its warmed up which would be expected. Here’s what I’m currently looking at:

nevermind. maybe I will post the diagram.
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...dd2a1f7292.png wires going to VTCS components are: 4J VTCS vacuum switch 2N VTCS Solenoid valve There will be an actuator attached at one end of the manifold, then on the vac line you'll have: a delay valve the vac switch (teed in) the solenoid valve inline the check valve then the vac line connects to the manifold I believe the blue thing under the throttle body is the delay valve. the green and white is the check valve. The VTCS line should go to the back of the manifold where your gauge is connected. The port on the top where your BOV connects is usually capped I think. |
Is that a check valve on the line to the megasquirt?

I think yes, connect the VTCS to the manifold through the check valve. Your orientation is correct for the check valve.
