Default Car cleaned up pretty good...WD-40 and Goo Off FTW!!

Been meaning to remove the remaining stickers on my car along with all the adhesive residue left from them all for some time now. Its amazing how WD-40 loosens the adhesive enough to where the stickers just wanna fall off (not sure if its good for paint, but it works!)....and Goo Off just melts the left over adhesive right off....heres a few shots of my car the cleanest its been since its been in my possesion (God I want some Bronze 6UL's and a roll bar!!):

*Edit*-Figured I'd throw up some pictures to show what "Stickers" I was talking about...

Thanks!....definitly...I wanna see if a few of us can get together and do a run or something. I'm not much of the car show or hang out in the parking lot on friday night type, so you won't catch me at too many of those shindigs. On a side note, how are the headlights coming?

Thats a done deal....in my mind at least! But that won't be for a while, safety first and plan on picking up a HDHCHTDD next month. Speaking of which, anyone have any good pics a hard dog bar with the padding/wrap??

Does the goof off destroy the wax/shine, or do you at least have to wash it afterwards?

Head light project is on hold till i finish my other small projects: Heat shielding, intake box, DIN gauge pod and install the water temp and oil pressure gauges. After that Ill do the headlights somewhere in between painting and lifting my buddys truck and wiring my roommates LS1 240z.

Busy summer...

No those are low beams. I could'nt do a retrofit with bixenons because the shutter mechanism was too large for the location I had to mount them in....I honestly think they are more than ample for night driving, yes if I'm ripping through twisties as fast as I can at night it could get hairy, but for even some moderate spirited driving I have no problems "Out Driving" them. Its been a while since I had a miata with stock lights, but from what I remember, I would say that these are probably brighter than stock highs...

CSPence... Here are some shots of my HDHCDDM2

It's not the hard top bar, but you get the idea.

I bought the dual density padding from OGRacing. It includes an inner layer that is designed for use with a helmet, and a nice soft outer layer that is just right for those times I drive the car without a helmet. Best of both worlds. Might look a little bulky, but the functionality is A+. I imagine the cockpit would be a but cramped for a tall person-- I'm 5'9" and I am fine, but 6'+ may struggle with how close the rollbar+padding is to the seats.

For track events, I just remove the soft layer (it is just taped on with electrical tape) and run with the SFI stuff.

You'll find pics of my car, with the HDHCHTDD bar and HD padding here:

BEGi - - BEGi Hex System - The_Car

(A much cleaner look than Fussballs DIY solution...)

If you want/need more detailed pics, PM me and I'll send some your way.
