Default What’s up with Brian? Part 2

I want to publicly apologize to Brian at Goodwin Racing for my previous post. I called him to apologize personally, and he graciously accepted. He’s going to invoice me for all costs incurred do to my idiocy, and I will pay him ASAP.

As most of you would expect, not only did Brian accept my apology, he also wants to help me figure out what kind of wheels and tires I really want (need).

Thank you, all of you who took me to task, I was way out of line and you were right to call me on it.

Told you dude, Brian's a good guy.

When **** starts getting confusing I feel its always best to take the 5 mins and call them on the phone. Chances are, if they take the time to talk with you....they are actually interested in your problem and want to help. If they pick up the phone and give you the "I'm too important and busy for you" attitude.....then they can **** themselves and your gonna have to call the CC company, paypal, etc.

I've had bad experiences with miata vendors, Goodwin racing was not one of them.

Way to man up. Good job. You'll be happier and won't have burned as many bridges for future help.

Thanks. When you make a mess, you've got to clean it up.

I just lol'd. Impressive to make that apology. Also impressive that Brian took the time to accept the apology and help you out. He can be abrasive sometimes it seems, but in all my experiences he is a damn good guy to do business with.

Mad, where are you located in NC?

miatamania,

I'm in Greensboro right now. My car is in pieces as I update my turbo system, new intercooler, Megasquirt, etc.

I also wanted to mention that while I was being such an *** about the tire/wheel order, I had another order with Brian. With the crap he was putting up with from me on the first order, he still sent the other order without any hassle.

Now that we've got past this, I plan on ordering from Goodwin Racing whenever I need something (and following his advice this time). He not only has great products for whatever kind of mods you are doing to your car at great prices, he's a fount of information, and a truly classy guy for accepting my apology.

My first post was retitled "My Hemorrhoids are acting up". This is my apology for that post.

I'm impressed to see a devildog apologizing, good on you. Welcome back to the states too! I kind of thought in the other thread you were probably just stressed out and trying to re-adjust to "normal" life.

Your apology and recognition that it was actually your prob and not Brians is a rare thing these days where no one wants to be responsible for their own actions...

Glad to see it and welcome back...
