what on earth is this ?
is it to do with Ecu ? or the est of the cars electrics ? It's the igniter for the coil pack - only found on 1.6 cars.
Leave it be otherwise you'll be rather short on sparks :) |

Its the ignitor. If you unbolt it from that bracket you can tuck it nicely begind the fuse box out of sight. Thats what I did. It also make for a good anti theft device, I remove it whenever im someone where unfamiliar for long periods.

3 bar it is essential to the working of the stock coils. unless you have another provision for coils then leave it where it is.

actually got 2 x miatas to do ! oneturbo - one v8 ! - one my own - the other a friends ! talk about trust ! and talk about a mess in the garage I think I will need the wires as I think one drives the stock rev counter ? |
