Default Question regarding the new HKS BOV.

Guys my car came with an ebay knock off bov and its annoying the crap out of me because its leaking like crazy. Im about to order the new HKS one that came out however i dont know which weld on flange to purchase. I found two different sizes on ebay. 50mm and 65mm and they claim they are both for the HKS SSQV. Anyone know which one is correct?

both are.

Go with the smaller one as we are not flowing huge amounts of air

The size differences of the flanges are based on what size charge piping you're welding it to. The flanges have a radius on bottom, so they sit on the pipe flat.

50mm is suitable for 2" pipe, 65 is for 2.5"

The sound of the HKS blow off valve will be more annoying than the air leak

Keep in mind there are also inserts you can get to change the sound if you really don't like it. FWIW, I think it sounds sweet as is.
