Default Wheel fitment question

My current 16x7 +42 offset rims with 205/50/16 tires are almost gone and since the fronts rub against the chassis due to offset being way too high I plan to find some new rims.

I found some 16x8 +10 offset rims locally. Now assuming I wont run rubber bands for tires (they have 205/50/16's on them) and have an NB and rolled fenders, does ANYONE see ANY reason for this rim/tire combo NOT to work on my car? Will it rub/poke/etc?

Please give me your suggestions/opinions since it is a good deal and if I want to get it I need to act fast.

Thanx all
-Vlad

Drive over and test fit one. I'm sure the seller would let you if they are used.

The only problem with that is I have my turbo out as of today getting the manifold-to-turbo gasket replaced. I was a cheap bastard and put in a crappy one. It started leaking this weekend. Also started fabbing up an exhaust system. I've been on the stocker this whole time. So for the next few days I'm miata-less

If I wait til the end of the week they'll be gone.

Anyone running 16x8 +10 on an NB???? ANYONE?

If I don't get an answer by today I think I'll buy em anyway lol

I'm pretty sure my 16x7s are +42 and I do not rub anywhere. I have 205/45s though, not sure why you're running 205/50s...
