Wheel opinions wanted
My 14x6 BBS wheels aren't cutting it with the 195/55/14 T1S tires. Not enough grip. I like the stock look though...not wanting to attract any attention. Was thinking about these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...211272246&rd=1 Late 80s BMW 325ix BBS wheels, 15x7, e41. Not sure the weight, but can't be too bad. Any thoughts? Stupid to spend that kind of coin on "rough" wheels just to stay looking stock? I've grown to like the basketweave look on my car. |
I think they're on the heavier side (relatively speaking) ~15lbs+, but shouldn't a big deal since you have extra power. Decent price and you can paint them to freshen them up. So for a stock look, reasonable weight, and 7" width that you can put 205s or even wedge 225s on, it looks like a decent option.

just look for a nice set of BBS wheels.
You could always got the BBS warehouse here in Atlanta and see what they have. |
^ Not looking to spend tons of money on my $1500 Miata ;)
