Whos running 1 solid motor mount?

I know there are a few of you out there. Any suggestions to which side is which, and what non-solid mount are you using?

I built a set of solids. I never tried to use just one, but with the pair installed, they were obnoxiously loud and the dash tried to jump out of the car from the vibration. I took them out and put in a pair of Mazda Motorsports mounts.

I have not heard of the practice of using just one solid mount. I may try it myself since I have them. The driver side is the side that breaks mounts the most, so I would assume that would be the side to install a solid mount.

Bumping this. I would of swore atleast a handful of people were doing this.

Brain is, I'm pretty sure.

You would use the solid mount on the driver's side.

We actually put one solid mount in Jared's (leatherface) car this weekend while installing his motor. We put it on the pass side. I rode in his car many time when he bad both solid mounts in and I hated it. It rattled beyond belief. we drove it last night with just one solid and its is 10 times better. I didn't feel any obnoxious rattling or vibrating and the motor has very very little movement.

Yeah OP, do it!

I run solid (MMR) on DS , and MS on the other. Pretty decent.

Why the passenger?

Others say the drivers side?

the reason you put the solid on the passenger side is because it will hopefully shake your gauges around less.

I put solid on the DS because it lessens the drivetrain torque under power. Shifter doesn't move under power, but moves a little to the right on deccel.
