Srs answer:
It comes from a misinterpretation of Japanese. The real name is “Deep Cone”, because of the conical shape of the steering wheel. In Japanese, this is written as “ディープ コーン”, which is read phonetically as, “deepu kohn”. The “コーン”, or “Kohn” is pronounced in the same way as “corn” in Japanese. I’m assuming a Japanese reseller had it written as “Deep Corn” because of this. A westerner saw it, and assumed they were called “Deep Corn”. mt answer:because didlos. |
