Because people can't research or have the technical know how to do it properly, always expecting to shoot for the moon for $20 on ebay and don't want to put any effort into contributing to a community of enthusiasts because in the end it'll always be just a Miata.

Because you don't make enough money to properly boost an engine, or prep the chassis.

I guess that kinda answers the " why I shouldn't boost a Miata". Whatevs.
